These features are included in every website built by StudioK40:

  • Statistics & Tracking:

An essential tool for analyzing website traffic data and discovering who your customers are and how they behave on your website. Analyzing visitor information and trends provides useful data for achieving marketing goals, including converting visitors into regular users. Tracking statistics provide information on how many people visit your website, where they live, what content they view and much more. Statistics are essential for improving online marketing or e-newsletter campaigns over time, which boosts your return on investment and increases brand loyalty.

  • Spam prevention:

Bots can harvest unsecured e-mail addresses from websites to be included on spam lists. I protect your privacy by encrypting all e-mail addresses so that bots scouring for email addresses won’t be able to interpret the code. All contact forms built by StudioK40 include spam protection mechanisms such as captchas.

  • Web Standard Code

All websites we build are compliant with both XHTML and CSS standards. What does this mean? An explanation of web standards from The Web Standards Project:
Complying with web standards can give your web pages greater visibility in web searches. The structural information present in compliant documents makes it easy for search engines to access and evaluate the information in those documents, and they get indexed more accurately.

Accessibility is an important idea behind many web standards. Not only does this mean allowing the web to be used by people with disabilities, but also allowing web pages to be understood by people using browsers other than the usual ones—including voice browsers that read web pages aloud to people with sight impairments, Braille browsers, hand-held browsers, teletext displays, and other unusual output devices.

These are some of the optional add-ons I have integrated in the past:

  • Newsletters/mailing lists:

are an extremely helpful feature, especially if you have a lot of users or want to expand your customer base. Many mainstream users still do not use an RSS reader, and some of them may prefer to receive your content in their inbox rather than by visiting your website every few days. If your website is one you imagine updating frequently, I can integrate newsletters into your system. You will be able to manage subscriptions, compose the newsletter in a WYSIWYG editor, manage your archive and track open/click results.

  • E-commerce:

E-commerce integration makes the user experience on your website a very comfortable one. Being able to sell products and services from within your website is essential for many businesses.

  • Blogs:

A Company blog helps keep your website fresh and can be a very useful marketing tool. This can be very useful for letting customers and clients know about what’s new and exciting with your company. If you sell products, you can announce new items or sales. This also helps tremendously towards SEO.

  • Photo galleries:

I build photo galleries that are easy to manage & good looking.

  • Contact forms:

that give confirmation that thier e-mail was sent.

  • Search boxes:

According to Web Usability Guru, Jakob Nielsen, studies show that more than half of all users are search-dominant, which means they will usually go straight for the search button when they enter a website: they are not interested in looking around the site; they are task-focused and want to find specific information as fast as possible.  I build search features into websites to reduce your bounce rate and ensure that possible users are getting the highest satisfaction out of your site as possible.

  • Contact Forms:

A contact form is used to make it easier for customers to you in as little steps as possible. Without a contact form a customer will likely have to copy the email address off of your site or click on the email address on a site in order to open a page to ask a question. Having a contact form eases the process of asking a question or making a comment about a site. This also allows you to specify what information users are required to provide. My contact forms give confirmation that thier e-mail was sent.
